The first debate of this very interesting political election occurred Friday night. The topics of discussion were on the economy and foreign policy. Both McCain and Obama have a plan to tackle the economic problems like the bank bailout and energy crisis, and both have opinions on dealing with terrorism.
This is the question that needs to be answered: who has the better plan to tackle the economic and foreign policy issues, and why? Secondly, what is being stated by either candidate that is not in accords with the Constitution (i.e. what in either of their plans violates the Constitution)
Remember NO first person, and use things that was said in the debate. You may have to go and rewatch parts of the debate. Give me good things to read!

Patriots!
What does it mean to be a patriot? Who is your favorite patriot and why?
George Washington was a great patriot. Not enough people study his life anymore. He risked all to save our country from the abuses of England. He SERVED his country everytime she called for him, which was for most of his life. During the eight years of war he was only home once. He also was a very godly man, praying often for his country and the soldiers that fought for her liberty. He was a very courageous man. If the British would have caught him they would have tried him as a traitor, a sure death. He fought against overwhelming odds against the greatest nation in the world at the time and WON! One of his greatest victories came at the lowest point of the Continental Army, getting his rag-tag army across the Delaware at Christmas in the freezing cold, and defeating the Hessians at Trenton. He brought the country together at the Constitutional Convention. He led the country during the first years when everything could have fallen apart. Then he gave one of the greatest speeches in the history of speeches in his farewell address. Many of the issues he spoke about, the country has not heeded and America has been the worse for it (party factions, entangling alliances, not relying on God). Study George Washington he WAS the Father of Our Country! He also loved his wife! What more could one say- a lot because this was a great man, a hero, the First Patriot!
